Tailgate Tips:
- When emptying your vehicle to make room for supplies, it's a good idea to make sure your jumper cables stay in the car.
- Pack the night before except for perishables, if you don't someone is already taking the best tailgating spot.
- Most tailgate problems can be solved with duct tape, hand sanitizer, and a permanent marker.
- Don’t sit on the cooler, bring enough chairs to your tailgate or someone else is going to sit on the cooler.
- Over-flipping burgers toughens the meat. Only flip once, while cooking to an internal temperature of 140°F.
- Separate your raw and cooked meats into different coolers. Unless you enjoy food poisoning.
- Set up your tailgate near a public restroom if possible. Always bring toilet paper.
